Fig offers a wide range of classes for home cooks of all levels. Classes are small, hands-on, and extremely vibrant and entertaining. Offerings change seasonally, and our menus range from Girls' Night Out to Farmer's Market to our popular French Bistro Dinner and famous Spice Market series.

Teambuilding
Here at Fig, we know that nothing brings people together like food, which is why we've designed a line of classes especially for your next team-building event or office party. Our lively hands-on teaching means that students work together to create a gourmet meal themselves. Once everything is ready, students sit down and bond over the full sit down dinner that their teamwork has produced. Classes are full of laughter and conversation, and our menus, which range from French Bistro to Picnic Party to an authentic Mexican Fiesta are designed to set the tone that works best for your event.
In addition to many local doctors and dentists offices, our happy clients have included Wolfgang Puck Catering, 3M, FedEx, Schick-Wilkinson Sword, SmartStart Education and Survey Sampling International. Private Parties
Whether you're planning to celebrate a birthday party, engagement party or baby shower or simply have a fun and unique couples or girls night out, we would love to schedule a private class with a customized menu for you and your friends. There is no limit to the number of menus we can provide for your party, whether you want Southern Fried Chicken, a French Bistro Dinner or an exotic Persian Feast. Our classes are hands-on (unless you prefer to watch) and are the perfect way to bond with friends or family. Afterwards, everyone sits down to celebrate over the gourmet meal they have just created. Everyone goes home with full tummies, a recipe packet, and priceless memories.

TV Appearances
Heide is featured regularly in cooking segments on WTNH, WTIC FOX CT and WFSB, and is available for demonstrations on TV stations around New England and New York. With seasonal demonstrations ranging from Back to School Favorites to No-Heat Summer Recipes or a week-long special on Thanksgiving Dinner, Heide enriches any variety show, cooking show or news program.

Speaking Engagements & Demonstrations
Heide is also available for speaking engagements and cooking demonstrations, and has a wide range of lectures and workshops to bring both entertainment and education to Corporate Events, Conferences and University Programming. Past engagements have included FedEx, Schick, Wolfgang Puck, Quinnipiac University, the Yale Peabody Museum and the New Haven Historical Society.
