Welcome to The Fig Cooking School, LLC! Since 2009, we've prided ourselves on being the most exciting cooking school in New Haven and beyond. We know that everyone can be a gourmet cook, and so our hands-on classes are designed for home cooks of every level. We eliminate the intimidation factor for new cooks, and share exotic techniques and ethnic flavors to those with years of experience.
Our menus change seasonally so that we can use local and organic ingredients wherever possible. We offer classes of virtually every cuisine type, from Italian to Indian, as well as themed classes like Girls Night Out, French Bistro Dinner, and Farmer's Market, which highlights fresh local produce. And of course, we infuse everything we do with humor and lively conversation. It's common to see students exchanging phone numbers at the end of a class.
